Hotel Preventive Disinfection

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are closely monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization’s statements regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and following guidelines from these agencies and the local health departments. The wellbeing of our guests and associates is of paramount importance.

Important Information:

In public spaces of the hotel the surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and the cleaning is done with increased frequency.

In guest rooms all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants. After all guests have closed the air-conditioner and have left the room, employees will come in and use specialized equipment during the cleaning process.  At every new arrival this equipment will be replaced.  Changes in linens and towels will take place every three days. All linens and towels will be washed and dried separately in high temperatures. There will not be everyday cleaning care. Only garbage will be taken away daily. Visitors can leave the garbage in the bin out of the rooms’ entrance. For any emergency cleaning you may use your own cleaning equipment and the second emergency linen pair that is placed in each closet. Air conditioners will be disinfected and cleaned in the safest way defined by health protocols after every arrival.

 

Our commitment to cleanliness:

Consisting of in-house and outside expert practices in water safety, hygiene and infection the hotel will work to develop new cleanliness standards, norms and behaviors for guests. The new standards will be applied to minimize risk and enhance safety for travellers and the people who wear the HHS name badge.

New Cleaning Terms

While Holiday House Skiathos develops its work, we will roll out enhanced technologies at its properties over the next few months, to cover areas and surfaces typically missed in standard cleaning processes. In its everyday cleaning the Hotel will also be using highly classified disinfectants, recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and World Health Organization to treat known pathogens.

Cleaning Regimen Changes

When guests check into HHS over the next few months they will notice a number of additions that will set an even higher standard of cleanliness for the hotel. First of all, a sense of security for any transmission is enhanced by the fact that HHS consists of separate residences, with entrances contactless of other visitors.

To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission through person-to-person contact we will be using signage to remind guests of maintaining the social distancing protocols.  There will be more hand sanitizing stations around the hotel- near the entrances and front desk, as well as meeting spaces. Guests can choose to use their phones to check in, make special requests and special orders. These “touchless” services can all be made quickly via internal phones, emails or live chat. Also, visitors are responsible to carry their baggage in their room. Our employees will do their best to take them as close to the room as possible.

In the employee community:

In order to provide a safe environment for our guests we have already bought the required supplies, including cleaning products, masks, gloves, antimicrobial wipes, sanitizers and steam cleaners for all the frontline workers.

The personnel of the hotel that have been certified for the emergency cases, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guarantee all of the above on behalf of the company.

Dear guests,

 Holiday House, dealing with the general global situation with great responsibility towards its customers and employees, completed the preventive disinfection throughout the whole complex.We would also like to inform you that our complex consists of independent studios,maisonettes and apartments, with separate central entrances to each accomodation and the common area is external, as you can see from the photos.

For those of you who will honor us with your presence this season we would like to inform you that there may be a slight delay in check-in due to the disinfection of the accommodation that you have booked, as well as the possibility of a short delay in the free-delivery by bus due to the continuous disinfection of the available transport vehicles.

Booking Terms and Conditions During Covid-19

From 1/6/2020, because of the situation, for the reservations, the hotel collect 20% deposit and the rest of the amount of your booking, must be payed,at least 7 days before your Check in. If there is any problem and you can not come to Holiday House, we will issue a Vaucher for you, to visit us until next year,from 1rst of June, until 20th of September., and during the same season  , or a higher one, by covering any difference in price.

The Voucher will be valued, only for our open season !!!
